We currently have one group of females for sale by
private treaty at the farm. It is a young group of
registered Angus cows that are also registered with the
American Simmental Association as Foundation Cows Of
Another Breed. The registered Angus herd here at
Pineview Farms has been dual registered with both the
American Angus Association and the American Simmental
Association for many years. All of our performance and
untrasound scan data has been reported to
both associations so as to build a strong data base for
our herd in both.
Each of these cows weaned a fall 2006 born calf
successfully this spring and have been palpated
safe-in-calf to the breeding dates provided. These cows
have A.I. breeding dates to Simmental bulls to produce
SimAngus HyBred 1/2 blood calves. The two A.I. sires are
the now deceased breed leading EPD sire Gambler, and a
young Gambler son, Dikemans Sure Bet, who is also a
memebr of the ABS Global sire line-up. The Simmental
clean-up sire is Easy Roll, our calving ease and
marbling specialist and the Angus clean-up sire is our
high growth Traveler 004 son, Dakota Traveler.
This is a very young, very productive group of cows that
would be excellect for a new breeder to build a program
around or offer an existing breeder a chance to add some
top pedigreed cows that could greatly benefit a SimAngus
HyBred or a purebred Angus breeding program.
The group of 15 cows are priced at $29,000.00
